Over a career spanning 43 years, the former CEO of Joslin Diabetes Center, John L. Brooks, has led international teams focused on healthcare private equity investment.
He was a founding General Partner of Prism Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital investment firm for nine years, and is a Director of the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, and its two accelerator funds.
John currently serves as Chairman of the Board for a number of highly-regarded healthcare organisations including Cellnovo Group SA, the world’s first mobile diabetes management system; the College Diabetes Network, a diabetes-focused non-profit; and Thermalin Diabetes, LLC, a company focused on insulin technology. He is also a Board Member of Hygieia, Inc, a healthcare company specialising in insulin guidance systems, and Ammonett Pharma, a privately owned biotech company, amongst others.
